This was my first attempt on creating a figurine like this with fondant. The eyes, brows and mouth were painted by hand.
One mistake I made was moving the figurine a little too much after it dried so the boy’s left leg cracked. It is important not to move or reposition the dried fondant too much to avoid breakage. The beach boy figurine was made with 100% fondant. Can you imagine how it will look on top of the cake. I loved how it turned out.
